Dressmaking

We have had a dressmaking group at St Matthew’s Church for over 25 years. During that time we have had some very interesting projects. Some of our members make new outfits, others do alterations or adjustments to original garments as fashion changes.

We can offer basic help for those who are beginners, and ongoing help for those with more experience. We have modern equipment and everyone is welcome to join us and also enjoy a cup of tea or coffee (with biscuits, of course!).

We meet on Thursday mornings at 9:45 am to 11:45 am during term times. We charge a small fee of £2 per session payable in person. If you have any further questions or queries then please do not hesitate to leave a message FAO Margaret Lees using our contact details.
