A Message From Manchester Baroque

One of the highlights of the festive season for many people is going to a performance of Handel’s Messiah. It is the story of the life of Christ told through a series of wonderful songs and choral pieces culminating in the magnificent Hallelujah Chorus. Manchester-based Charity, Manchester Baroque and their professional orchestra will be performing it with the Manchester Cathedral Choir at Manchester Cathedral on Saturday December 9th at 7pm.

On the evening of Good Friday, March 29th at 4.30pm Manchester Baroque will be playing again at Manchester Cathedral to perform Bach’s St Matthew Passion with Manchester Cathedral Choir, one of the most moving pieces of music ever written, performed for the occasion in the Church calendar for which it was originally written. Tickets start at £10 plus booking fees. See https://rb.gy/b9dlte for details.

The orchestra have performances year-round at venues in Manchester. See https://rb.gy/b9dlte for more details and tickets or email us at hello@manchesterbaroque.co.uk. You can also call me on 07919381009.
